What is 'Counting Christians'? Counting Christians is a website developed in response to a statement made by a colleague: 'Christianity in decline in the United Kingdom!'. After researching the internet and coming up with various statistics, none conclusive, I thought it best to start capturing statistics of my own. So, the [divine] inspiration of this discussion is Counting Christians. Are you a Christian? If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. 1 Peter 4:15-16 This is your opportunity to stand up and be counted. We are trying to get as many Christians to be counted as possible to make a real statement and highlight our numbers across the globe. Please note that all information is completely confidential and nothing will be shared without your prior consent. Whether you are a devout Christian or non-practising, but believe that Jesus is the son of God who died on the cross for our sins, we want to know about you. Click here and be counted! We will be sharing these with you and all our stats can be viewed in the statistics section of our website. We are also open to suggestions about the reports that we have in this section of our site.
